Well, maybe not all the way to the hedges at Sanford Stadium, but I have made it to Athens, GA. Home of the UGA Bulldogs. I got a very early start to meet up with the 6amers before they went and tackled McAfee without me. Thanks to Huck and Eric for keeping me company until Avondale. The weather was good, and I made it to Athens before the temps got too hot, and the storms haven't started yet.
It was bound to happen sometime, and for only the second time on a tour, I got a flat this morning. Took a short break in the middle of nowhere to replace the tube, then had smooth sailing for the last 35 miles.3. Got a great cup of iced coffee at Sips and some very good Mexican for lunch. I'm meeting my warmshowers host shortly to get settled in and finish planning tomorrow's route. I'm heading to through Georgia Guidestones, maybe I'll gt a picture or two...
