It's been a hard day's ride...

And I've been chased by some dogs...I made it to Anderson, SC this afternoon. Along the way, I got to gravel grind for several miles in Georgia, where no less than four dogs chased me down the road. Two stayed in their yard as they chased, but the other two joined me on the dirt and gravel road. Luckily, for both them and me, those two did not catch me or get caught up in the bike.

It was a hot day on the road, and I did stop by the Guidestones. I met a man and his daughter there. They were on their way to the beach at Jekyll Island. I got a couple pictures on my phone, but haven't gotten them uploaded to blogger yet. Sorry.

Last night I had a great warmshowers host. Chris and his girlfriend welcomed me into their home, then took me out to watch Team USA defeat Ecuador 2-1. We watched at the Blind, where we met a couple of there friends. A goof time was hard by all, especially since Team USA won. I made an early start, but still got caught in some serious heat. Tomorrow looks to be cooler, which will be nice for the 71 mile route to Spartanburg. More when I get there tomorrow.
